From Glassmen.org: The Glassmen performed in an amazing collaborative concert with the Toledo Symphony this past March. In case you missed it, here's your opportunity to hear it again. The sold-out concerts both concluded with the "1812 Overture," and the corps brought the finale to life in true "surround sound." Fifty select percussion and brass players made their grand entrance for the finale at the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle Hall. With more than 1500 patrons in attendance each night, including dozens of other members, fans, family and friends of the Glassmen, the only thing more deafening than the final applause was the booming sounds of bold brass and drum "canons" filling the auditorium. If you weren't able to witness the historic concerts in person, you're still in luck! The concert will be rebroadcast on the radio by WGTE-FM 91 in Toledo on Thursday, June 1 at 8 p.m. Eastern time. Not in the area? You can listen online by visiting WGTE online during the broadcast time. www.glassmen.org
