Citizens of Indianapolis got a lunchtime treat Wednesday, June 23, as the Glassmen set up on the steps of the iconic Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument and showed fans and passerbys a glimpse of what's in store when corps head to the Circle City this August for the DCI World Championships. It was more than just a concert. It was a completely interactive event. The drum line played exercises and even gave excited spectators the chance to play on their drums. Two young boys, or perhaps future corps members and band directors, helped conduct warm ups for the brass section. And though standing concert performances rarely showcase the color guard, Glassmen guard members spun their flags in warm-up for a beautiful visual display.

The Glassmen's performance was a promotion for a brand new highlight of the three-day championship series of events, the Come Feel the Music Festival which wiill take place during the World Class Quarterfinals on Thursday, Aug. 12.
