During day 3 of the Drum Corps International World Championships, Wednesday, Aug. 7, Downtown Indianapolis came alive, as the 2013 Individual & Ensemble (I&E) Championship, presented by System Blue, filled the streets with members from both Open and World Class corps. More than 300 participants competed in one of the event's percussion, brass, woodwinds, mixed ensemble, vocal and visual categories, and many were excited to see a newly-introduced exhibition category. All corps will continue on, competing at the World Championship Prelims Thursday, Aug. 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
