A television production crew followed the Blue Devils and Cadets all summer long, and the very first episode of the new “Clash of the Corps” series is set to premiere this week.

Executive produced in part by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the new series has been put together in cooperation with the two drum corps by Seven Bucks Productions and 44 Blue Productions for the Fuse television network.

Giving an inside look at corps members from the pre-season all the way through the DCI World Championship Finals, the eight-part half-hour docu-series aims to capture “what those in the stands rarely see: the sacrifices of competition, as well as the impact of relationships, the challenges of navigating a multitude of personalities, and the mentorship the team members experience year after year when choosing to compete and reach for success at the highest levels.”

“It’s an extremely unique culture with very talented individuals and we’re excited to partner with Fuse to share the passion and drive behind these kids who are battling it out to win it all,” Johnson said.

While the first episode will not officially air until this Wednesday, October 5, at 11 p.m. ET on Fuse, fans around the world got an early look at the premiere episode on Tuesday, October 4, when Dwayne Johnson streamed a preview on his official Facebook page.

Otherwise the show will air as part of Fuse’s weekly programming on Wednesday nights at 11 p.m. ET.
