We took this photo before the Troopers entered the field at the DCI World Championship Finals in 2009 for the first time since 1986. We ran into a Trooper alum who already had a shirt made that said “23 Years” on the front. On the back it said “I was there in 1986, and I’m here tonight.” Go Troop! We were both in the 1986 corps that took 11th place over the Velvet Knights.
