Here is a picture I took of the Santa Clara Vanguard drum majors and color guard captain during the awards ceremony of the 2007 DCI West Championships at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, Calif. This was such an amazing show that tuned the corps up for the World Championships in Pasadena. No matter how they've looked through the years, the Santa Clara Vanguard has been a consistent favorite of mine.
