Interview with Carolina Crown's assistant drum major

DCI.org's Christina Mavroudis-Dempsey, talks with Evan VanDoren, a trumpet player and assistant drum major with Carolina Crown. VanDoren is a 19-year-old third-year member from Bloomington, Ind. Prior to this interview, Carolina Crown had to step off of the field in the Georgia Dome at the Coltrin & Associates DCI Southeastern Championship as a result of rain and thunder that was too loud to have the corps perform during. Van Doren discusses the corps' Atlanta performance, his family ties to drum corps as well as how he can play trumpet on the field and also serve as Carolina Crown's assistant drum major.
