Jersey Surf alum Simon Boyar, who is currently a professor at the Julliard School of Music and New York University, was recently featured in a National Public Radio (NPR) interview. Boyar who grew up as a rock drummer, has taken on a new project performing "Double Concerto for Violin and Percussion" by Harold Farberman, a former percussionist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
