Bob Jacobs, director of the Jersey Surf, wrote in to give us an early April progress report:
“With so many of our members celebrating their fourth and fifth anniversaries with the corps this year, the vibe around here right now is one of excitement, enthusiasm and all-around positive energy. We can’t wait to get on the field and down the road — we’ll finish up all but the last 30 seconds of the musical book this weekend at our April camp, and we’ve already started the drill process at the March camp — both of which are great things for us, as we’re traditionally “late-bloomers.
“The kids are playing a ton and having a blast –just the way we like it!”
