From a Lehigh Valley Knights' press release: "The Lehigh Valley Knights' 2003 production will be called "Fantasy.""This years' musical production "Fantasy - a flight of the imagination" has been created to stir the hearts and the minds of the audience and the performers. The creative team's challenge was to take the Knights into a realm of artistic expression of music and visual deliverance. The challenge would deliver to the performers the highest grades of excellence throughout all of the aspects of performance. This show will certainly do that!" The excerpts of the musical selections that make up the show will certainly be recognizable by the audience, with melody lines that will stay with them long after a show, this will also hold true for the performers. The music creates many moods that the performers can connect with and transfer to the audience. During this year's musical production, the corps' plan is to deliver a visual production that keeps the audience's eyes close to the field to catch what may come next. The show will be designed with a series of integrations and demands from the performers that are designed to please an audience. "This year's repertoire will consist of excerpts from "Firebird Suite" (Stravinsky), "Carnival of the Animals" (Saint-Saens), "Ave Maria" (Schubert) and "Pines of Rome" (Respighi)."More information on membership with the Lehigh Valley Knights can be obtained from their Web site at www.LehighValleyKnights.org.
