by Drum Corps International

From a Madison Scouts press release: For the first year, Madison Meets Madison, an annual fundraising event for the Madison Scouts, is teaming up with one of the greatest area festivals, the Brat Fest.    Madison Meets Madison will be held on Monday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center, and will include performances by Capital Sound, special guests the nationally acclaimed Kehl Dance Team, and the two-time Drum Corps International World Champions the Madison Scouts, who will be officially unveiling their 2005 field show, "The Carmen Project." There will also be a silent auction and NFL raffle including roundtrip airfare, hotel, and tickets for two to the Super Bowl, hosted by the Madison Youth in the Arts Foundation along with the National Football League. The "World's Biggest Brat Fest," one of Madison's most popular fundraising events, has outgrown its home in the parking lot of Hilldale Shopping Center and will move to the Alliant Energy Center from May 27-30. Brat Fest will be serving food, fun and music from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on each of the four days. Throughout the day local high school bands, dance teams, and members of the Madison Scouts will display their talents by performing on one of the many stages at the Brat Fest from 3 to 4 p.m. In addition to the stage performances, the Madison Scouts will be performing Monday, May 30, at Madison Meets Madison from 4 to 5 p.m. Entrance and parking for the event is free.
