From the Mandarins' Web site:

On an unusually warm February night in San Francisco, the Mandarins helped ring in the Year of the Pig, at the 2007 Chinese New Year Parade. The performance was the corps' public debut of the season. They first marched in this parade in 1965, and the event has been a Mandarins tradition ever since.

As always, the parade was exciting to march in, with many corps members experiencing it for their first time.

Parade officials estimate more than 100,000 people turned out to watch the parade, one of the largest Chinese New Year celebrations worldwide and watched by millions of television viewers.
