Members of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band were recently featured in a video segment on Sports Illustrated's website. The group, which is spearheaded by the National Association for Music Education (MENC), performed during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the beginning of January. Made up of 125 high school seniors, 26 of this year's band members had previous experience with Drum Corps International corps. Since the band's beginnings in 2008, Drum Corps International has been in charge of staffing, coordinating, and selecting the ensemble's color guard section. Selected band members each year earn an all-expenses-paid trip to San Antonio to learn their six-minute halftime production that is performed in front of thousands.
