On Saturday, the Indianapolis Star reported on city leaders' groundwork to make Indianapolis a "mecca" for music and arts groups, similar to what has been done for amateur sports and auto racing.



Drum Corps International recently joined a bevy of arts-based organization who now call Indianapolis home including Music for All (Bands of America), the American Pianists Association and the Percussive Arts Society, among others. DCI has committed to holding its World Championships in Indianapolis at the brand new Lucas Oil Stadium for a period of 10 years.
