From a Madison Drum and Bugle Corps Association press release: Colin McNutt (percussion arranger and caption head) and Iain Moyer (arranger and instructor for the front ensemble) have joined the Madison Scouts' staff for 2004. They'll join returning brass composer and arranger Scott Boerma, as well as returning co-caption head Mark Waymire and color guard designer Jennifer LeSeth, as well as visual designer Jamey Thompson. Erik Jansson will return to Capital Sound as percussion caption head and staff coordinator/show coordinator. Ryan Klassa has been named as caption head for the Capital Sound color guard. Klassa was with Capital Sound last year, but this will be his first time as caption head. Chris Forbes will be Capital Sound's arranger and brass caption head. Forbes was a member of the Madison Scouts' 1975 championship corps, and was a long-time Scouts brass arranger and caption head. Capital Sound's visual designer and caption heads will be announced at a later date. Southwind's 2004 program, meanwhile, will be co-coordinated by director Mike Loeffelholz and Steve Vento (who will serve as the brass arranger and brass caption head). Loeffelholz will write the drill. T.R. FitzGibbon will serve as Southwind's percussion caption head. Jim Yakas has moved from the Madison Scouts to Southwind, and will fill the role of percussion arranger. Southwind's visual caption head for 2004 will be Mark Palise, with Barry Artis serving as that corps' color guard caption head. Cedric Nicholson will be Southwind's color guard designer.
