Sandra Fetcho (mom of Emily, Pioneer '05, who has 'many more years to go until she ages out!') submitted this one: "Last summer, one member of our high school band marched with Pioneer. He was so passionate about his experience that this year five more students joined him! My daughter Emily was a rookie mellophone player who had a blast marching on tour this summer. An added bonus: She began their show between two of her friends from school! It also makes it easy for me to tell friends who have come to watch -- 'She starts in between the two biggest bass drums!'
