From a Memphis Sound press release: On Aug. 18, 2006, Trey Moore resigned his position as director of the Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. It was Moore's long-time dream to bring drum corps back to the Memphis area so that today's youth could experience the same joys and challenges he experienced as a member of the Memphis Blues Brass Band Drum and Bugle Corps in the early 1980s. Read more on www.memphisdrumcorps.org. From a Revolution press release: The director of Revolution, GM Kuzma, has stepped down, effective Aug. 30, 2006. In two years, Kuzma has led Revolution Drum & Bugle Corps through a remarkable transition back to the competitive arena. After Revolution went inactive in 2004, Kuzma was hired to assemble a team that would bring the drum corps back for a full national tour with a trip to the Drum Corps International World Championships in Brockton, Mass.
