This photo was taken at the Drums Along the Rockies event on July 28, 2007 in Denver, Colo. It had rained hard Friday afternoon into the evening. The clouds parted for a beautiful Saturday night to watch drum corps only for the rain to return Sunday evening.



This is Ashley Drayer, one of the drum majors for the Blue Knights. The photo shows her on the video board at Invesco Field with the full moon above her.



Our daughter, Samantha Salmon, is a third-year trumpet player with the Blue Knights.
