Celebrating the New Year and looking ahead to the summer of 2015, this week Drum Corps International recaps highlights of 2014, today with some of the most watched videos on the DCI Fan Network YouTube channel.

1. DrumLine Battle Champions E-Sarn - DCI Finals 2013

The E-Sarn Drumline came all the way from Thailand to participate in the first-ever DrumLine Battle held in conjunction with the 2013 DCI World Championships in Indianapolis. The group won all of its head-to-head battles during the competition and had the chance to perform in exhibition prior to the start of the DCI World Championship Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium.

2. Judge helps drummer whose drum fell off

One of the most virally spread videos from the 2014 DCI World Championships, this clip captured a Carolina Crown snare drummer during his Finals-night performance. Watch and listen as field percussion judge Allan Kristensen becomes a hero after the snare drummer loses something very important.

3. 2014 DCI World Championship Finals Awards Ceremony

Competition highlights, interviews and the announcement of scores, the 2014 Drum Corps International World Championship Finals Awards Ceremony was broadcast live on Saturday, August 9, as the world waited in eager anticipation of the final results of the 2014 DCI Tour

4. "The Commandant's Own" performance at the 2014 DCI Finals

Returning to the DCI World Championships for the first time since 2011, "The Commandant's Own" U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle corps took its familiar performance slot at the top of the Finals competition on Saturday, August 9. Attired in their striking red and white uniforms, the ensemble also played the finalist corps back onto the field as part of the awards ceremony to close out the night.

5. DCI Horn Cam: 2014 Blue Devils Victory Encore

Immediately after winning their record-setting 16th DCI World Championship title on August 9 in Indianapolis, Blue Devils members had the opportunity to take the field for a victory run of their 2014 production "Felliniesque." The DCI Fan Network was there and had the opportunity to strap a camera onto seventh-year mellophone player Brian Zimmerman, giving fans an exciting point-of-view perspective of the corps' final performance of the summer.
