This summer we called on drum corps fans to "spread the word" about drum corps to the uninitiated - invited longtime fans to become marching music evangelists. Bobbie Allen sent in this one. "This is picture is of the "girls of the crew" at Indianapolis in the lot. We spent all summer chasing "our UK drummer boys," a.k.a. Brian Archinal (Cavaliers, snare), Brad Meyer (Cadets, pit), and Charlie Olvera (Bluecoats, pit). Because I was the only one with any knowledge of drum corps, I definitely had my work cut out for me with these girls. The road trips were amazing!
