A field of 18 corps was pared down to 13 after the Open Class Semifinals competition on Friday, Aug. 8. After kicking off the World Championships with a win on Tuesday in Michigan City, Ind., Blue Devils B once again took top honors now from the confines of Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. They'll try to continue their winning ways on Saturday morning as they look to hold off an impressive field of challenging corps including the Vanguard Cadets and Jersey Surf who are both within half a point.
