The performance order for the Open Class World Championship Prelims was determined by averaging the participating corps' two highest scores earned at DCI Tour events between July 24 in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania and August 2 in Avon Lake, Ohio. The top 12 scoring corps from this event will compete as part of the Open Class World Championship Finals on Tuesday, Aug. 5, with exhibition performances by the non-advancing corps.
