The Phantom Regiment will sponsor a June camp for aspiring conductors and drum majors. The camp, sponsored by Stanbury, will be instructed by John Madden, director of the Spartan Marching Band at Michigan State University, and Galen Karriker, director of the marching band at University of Akron. The lead counselor will be Brandon Stansbury. The camp will be held in conjunction with the Phantom Regiment's spring training rehearsals at Rockford College. All are former members of the Phantom Regiment. Madden was a soprano player in the 1980s and also a brass instructor in the early 1990s. Karriker was a snare drummer in the late 1980s and later the conductor (1991). Stansbury was conductor in 2002. Go HERE for more information.
