Phantom Regiment is a youth organization dedicated to the development of self-esteem and self-reliance. It encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, civic pride and contributions of one's personal best to a group effort. These lessons are learned through a musical and marching activity in which there is a blending of the arts and athletics. In addition to its flagship drum and bugle corps, which has been ranked
among the best in the world for more than 30 years, Phantom Regiment also runs a Drum Major Camp, a Snare Drum Camp and a Fall Marching Band
Festival -- all for high school students. Drums for All, a program targeting elementary students in Rockford, is jointly sponsored by Phantom Regiment and Rockford Symphony Orchestra. Phantom Regiment directly connects with more than 2,000 young people each year. It also attracts nearly 4,000 fans each summer to its Shows of Shows drum and bugle corps show in Rockford.
