Scott Burka, a Bluecoats 2003 contra age-out, sent in this one. “This is a picture of my contra section leader and co-horn sergeant Kurt (left) and me (right) after the practice before the MTSU show (my home show). He wore that hat all summer and it gave him a crazy sunburn on his (bald) head. There was one time up in the Northeast where this little chubby kid, who was no older than 7 or 8, walked over to our practice site and watched our contra music sectional. He kept asking us dumb questions and eventually he asked Kurt about his hat.
Chubby Kid:
“Are those BEER caps on your hat?”
Kurt:
“Yes … yes they are.”
Chubby Kid:
