From a Boston Crusaders' Web site: The Boston Crusaders are pleased to announce that Ralph Stewart is the visual designer for the 2005 season. Stewart is a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University, where he received a bachelor's degree in music education. He is currently the visual designer for many BOA competitive bands around the country, and has been a visual clinician, designer, adjudicator and consultant for many organizations within DCI, WGI and BOA for more than 12 years. These prestigious units include Magic of Orlando, Carolina Crown, Carolina Thunder, Tarpon Springs High School, East Lake High School, West Carteret High School and Olympic Heights High School. Stewart has been involved with the Crusaders visual program since 2000. He marched in the brass section of the Carolina Crown from 1991-1996, where he served as drum major for three years, including the corps' first ever appearance in the Drum Corps International World Championship Finals in 1995. After aging out of Crown, he served as their tour manager in 1997, a role he reprised with Magic of Orlando in 1998. He then joined the visual staff of the Boston Crusaders in 2000 as a marching technician. Stewart is a cofounder of Wicked Liquid Productions, a south Florida-based music production company responsible for mixing and editing the music for many World Class WGI guards, including Braddock Independent, Northeast Independent and Flannagan Scholastic World.
