The Reading Buccaneers captured the Drum Corps Associates World Championship Open Class title on Sunday, Sept. 2 in Rochester, N.Y., wrapping up a weekend-long series of all-age corps championship events. The Buccaneers scored 98.313 out of 100 points beating out two eastern corps the Caballeros (96.650) and the Empire Statesmen (95.650). The Sunrisers of Rockland County, N.Y. captured the Class A championship title.
The Reading Buccaneers performed at the DCI Eastern Classic this July in Allentown, Pa.
