The Winnebago High School bands (Winnebago, Ill.) had a surprise last week, when Ellen DeGeneres with the help of VH-1’s Save the Music foundation helped the bands to purchase new instruments. The Phantom Regiment is longtime supporter of the Winnebago HS bands. In return for the loan of percussion and brass instruments, the high school houses the corps during the summer months.
