Revolution performs at the Open Class
Finals Tuesday in Michigan City, Ind.
Revolution corps management has made the decision to finish the corps' season after its 11th place finish at the Open Class World Championship Finals Tuesday, Aug. 7. The corps began its trip back from Michigan City, Ind. to its hometown of San Antonio Wednesday morning, Aug. 8. Revolution Youth in the Performing Arts Executive Director Antonio P. Monita said: "Over the past 48 hours we have realized some unexpected costs that have caused us to evaluate our position. After careful consideration, I have decided to return the organization to our home base a few days earlier than scheduled. "With our 2012 Open Class Finals performances completed and our competitive goals reached, we feel that our decision is in the best interest of our marching members, educational staff and organization. Additionally, we have made arrangements for our age-out corps members to participate in the Age-Out Ceremony at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday night. We will be departing for San Antonio today and expect to arrive early Thursday morning. "Revolution would like to thank Dave Eddleman, Chris Magonigal and Drum Corps International for their support, hospitality and guidance."
