"The first picture (below) is of me and my boyfriend, Max Mersinger, a euphonium player with Carolina Crown, in the Alamodome in San Antonio after their evening performance. I drove 14 hours to see the show (and him!). Gotta love that summer sunburn. "The second picture (top) is of (clockwise from top left) my friend Sarah (who I'd brought to see her first drum corps show), Max, myself, Gordon ("Sluggo," in the green shirt) and his friend (whose name I've embarrassingly forgotten), two volunteer staffmembers for the Cavaliers. "It seemed like every corps in the country had their free day the day after the contest on the River Walk in San Antonio! Lots of flip-flops with bad sock tanlines were seen that day." Thanks Emma!
