The sky was ablaze with fireworks flashing in time to the music as corps performed on Ames Field in Michigan City, Ind., July 3. The Cavaliers sponsored this 50th annual Pageant of Drums event, which featured nine World and Open Class corps and encores from the Classic Cavaliers and Toronto Optimists Alumni. The Michigan City High School Wolf Pack band kicked off the evening with a cadence and the "Star Spangled Banner," while military honor guards led the corps onto the field recognizing the 50th anniversary of the United States' 50-star flag. The event also recognized Bud Parker, Summer Festival Grand Marshal, for his work with the Michigan City show. View this photo gallery.
