Seidling to consult Impulse

From an Impulse press release: Impulse is excited to announce that Phantom Regiment director Pat Seidling has joined on as an organizational adviser and consultant. He will remain with the Phantom Regiment as full-time director.

“Impulse is celebrating their seventh year in existence. Asking Pat to offer new insights as we improve our infrastructure demonstrates our commitment to excellence, as Impulse continues to grow as an organization and competitive unit,” said Impulse’s Ron Zeilinger.

Seidling has a history of success, having been an integral part of the growth of Pioneer in the early 1990s as they moved through the Division II & III ranks into Division I. He then moved on to served as Madison Scouts assistant director in the mid 1990s, and in 1999 and 2000 he took the directorship of Southwind, as they re-emerged on the DCI scene and achieved their most successful seasons to date. Since 2001 Pat has been central to the revitalization of the Phantom Regiment organization.

“I’m happy to share whatever experience I can with Impulse as they grow and evolve,” said Seidling. “The depth of the Regiment organization and the luxury of being able to focus on drum corps as a full-time career allows for this opportunity to come about. Just as directors that are more experienced than myself continue to advise me, I am honored to be asked to help a fellow corps and support the growth of our activity.”
