Julianna Mandler, a trumpet player with the Vanguard Cadets for the last three years, sent in this one. "This is a picture of the 2004 Vanguard Cadets horn line on the day of our finals during stretch-out, doing our "show day stretch." Our tradition of the "show day stretch" is basically to scream your heads off as loud as you can and get pumped up before our show. The person in the middle of the group was our only age-out in the horn line, Pablo Coppola, who led the last stretch-out of the year. I thought this was just a really awesome picture to show.
