The corps also is proud to welcome a new face, George Armenta as the color guard caption head for the 2007 season. A native of Southern California, he has been involved in the drum corps activity for 15 years as an instructor and adjudicator. Armenta currently is on the design staff at Mission Viejo High School, Calif., and has been a performing arts educator at Arcadia High School, Calif., for the past 11 years. "George is a great addition to the Spirit family. We are all very excited about what he will bring to the corps as we look forward to a tremendous season," said Spirit Executive Director Ken Bodiford.
