Spirit of Newark/New Jersey Executive Director passes away

Drum Corps International mourns the loss of longtime Spirit of Newark/New Jersey Executive Director Glenn Eng, who passed away suddenly Friday, July 27. A former member of the Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights of Newark, N.J., Eng also served as a brass instructor with the Bridgemen, Velvet Knights, New York Knickerbockers and Falcon Ridgemen, among others. "In addition to being a great teacher, he was also a great mentor and a good friend," Spirit of Newark Corps Director Harold Wright said. "Mr. Eng will be missed by many."
