This picture is from the 2006 DCI World Championships week in Madison, Wis. The members of Spirit are all graduates or current students of Northgate High School in Newnan, Ga., with our band director. From left to right: Trey Brunn, Kira, Larue and Alan Armstrong.



All of us were rookies at Spirit from JSU and we have all returned for 2007. Alan Armstrong marched as a member of Spirit of Atlanta from 1982-1986 and taught off and on until 2001.



We never would have done drum corps if it were not for Mr. Armstrong. He is not only our teacher, but our mentor and friend.
