Are you a high school junior, involved in color guard in the Lone Star State? Would you like to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity?

This fall, Drum Corps International (DCI) and MENC: The National Association for Music Education will be recognizing the finest Texas high school senior color guard performers as part of the All-American Marching Band, presented by MENC in cooperation with SportsLink, the producer of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and American Musical Salute.

Those Texas color guard performers selected will have the honor of performing with 90 of the best marching musicians in the nation during the nationally televised U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, in January of 2008.

Audition requirements for the All-Texas Color Guard include submission of an application form and audition video. All application materials must be postmarked by Aug. 1, 2007, and can be downloaded below.

Visit DCI.org/AllTexas for all audition materials including a downloadable application form, video segment, and a set of frequently asked questions.
