DCI Hall of Famer Dennis DeLucia walked to the 50-yard line after tonight’s I & E awards presentation to honor DCI PBS broadcaster Steve Rondinaro for his 25 years of service to the drum corps activity.
“The television lens doesn’t say, ‘Great job, Steve!'” DeLucia said by way of introduction.
Tammy Rondinaro, Rondinaro’s wife (who has never witnesed a live finals show) was flown in for the occasion.
“I especially appreciate these folks here (the audience) and the ones in the bus lots,” Rondionaro said.
