Marissa Roe, a Crossmen mellophone player, sent in this one. "This picture was taken by my dad just after our first show at N.Y.'s Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. From left to right, that's Kristen ("KK," mellophone), Claudia (baritone) and I (Marissa, mellophone). We had so much fun this past year. I loved you guys so much and miss you terribly. "The Crossmen were an unbelievable family. We loved to perform our "Crossroads" show. Although we didn't make finals, we knew that we entertained the crowds and that meant a lot. I cannot wait to start rehearsals for the 2006 show. "Claudia aged out this year. I will miss her so much. She was my inspiration during spring training and my running partner during tour. I wish her all the luck in her future." Thanks Marissa! E-mail your best shots from the summer to dave@dci.org along with where and when the photo was taken. Send some biographical information about yourself as well. We'll give you full credit. Also, let us know if you want your e-mail address included. View the Forzato archives
