Originally, I was recommended to them based on finances and location, but most of all the attitude reflected by the Bluecoats is incredible and positive. What first attracted you to the drum corps activity? The incredible energy, passion of performance, excellence, and sense of family.

What advice would you give to young people who want to march? Go for it, if you want it bad enough, nothing can stop you. Do you have any favorite road anecdotes? Of course I do. The last good book I read: "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown The last great film I saw: "The Boondock Saints" Where I go to school and what I'm studying: University of Houston, music education Jobs I have/have had: Visual tech and private lesson teacher at Stephen F Austin High School Three CDs I'd want on a deserted island:

Being on that field at finals. Best drum corps show ever: Santa Clara Vanguard 2000 What are you most looking forward to about the summer? Working with all the Bluecoats I miss so much. Best thing about being in a drum corps: Working together and performing. Worst thing about being in a drum corps: Cold showers During tour, the best part of the day is: Personally, I enjoy snack. During tour, the worst part of the day is: Waking up. Favorite drum corps personality and why: Dean Westman, he's a cool guy and has taught me a lot. What I want to be when I "grow up": Band director? As long as I am working with students and music. Describe what you think a typical DCI show will look in 2015. I have no idea.
