Julia McCune, a junior in high school living in La Crosse, Wis., and a member of the Blue Stars’ guard in 2003 and 2004, e-mailed us this photo. “This is the Blue Stars’ guard bus on the way to a show, either before or during finals week. From front to back: Brian, Jaynee, Candice, Kirsten, Nick, with Haakon and Stacey in the front of the bus. Our guard bus was probably the most fun, despite the fact that we didn’t have any TVs or DVD/VCR players like the horn and drum bus did. Our bus probably had the least amount of drama, too! Most of the time, we got along really well; and all those other times, well — you have to get upset with someone every now and then after living with them for two months!”
