Sarah Caudle, 16, of Winston Salem, N.C., marched with Scenic City, and sent in this shot of that corps on its way to watch Division I semifinals: "This summer was my first year marching, and I can definitely say that it will not be my last by far. I am a total drum corps freak now. The friends I made in corps have now become my backbone. I'm extremely dependant on them and they are my best friends and family. We didn't make it to semifinals, but not making it didn't put a "damper" on our phone. "We had so much fun this summer. When things were bad and we lost our corps manager and people were quitting, we never let it put a drag on our hearts. We kept marching and playing and having a great time. "I just want to thank everyone from Scenic for all the great memories and friendships they have given me. And thank you to my friends that supported me throughout everything. This was truly a wonderful experience and I'm so glad I experienced it." Thanks Sarah!
