It was taken during a water break at their rehearsal in Sevierville, Tenn., on June 20 this summer. Being a drum corps alum myself, I remember more than anything the joy of visits from friends and family throughout the summer. For this show I was somewhat sneaky and surprised him for my first visit of the summer. The look on his face when I walked over to watch them rehearse was priceless! “I was the drum major for Cincinnati Glory in 2000. I’m currently a chemical engineering student at the University of Kentucky and am originally from Alexandria, Ky. Kyle is from Houston and is a music education major at UK as well.” Thanks Samantha!
