Christina Mavroudis (mother of Emily, pictured on the left) submitted this one: "This was taken at the San Jose Raiders' color guard summer performance after the three ladies got back from Santa Clara Vanguard tour in 1999. Many SCV guard members perform with both organizations including these friends. What makes this a special picture is that since then, all three have been Santa Clara Vanguard guard captains. From left to right Emily Mavroudis (GC 2003), Megan Lowery (GC 2002) and Rose Broome (GC 1999-01). 2003 will be Emily's eighth and final marching season with the organization.
