Drum Corps International is getting ready for the Sept. 5, ESPN2 broadcast of the 2006 World Championships, and the DCI staff members are already hard at work planning a bash for the ESPN2 viewing. The ticketing crew has plans for a big vat of spaghetti topped with Blue Devils "Make Him a Meatball he Can't Refuse" meatballs, while the merchandise department has been put in charge of dessert with plans for Phantom Regiment "Brownies from the Dark Side." The events team is in charge of entertainment with a rousing game of drum corps charades in the works.
