Drum corps fans will get a complete look at the 2016 debuts of the Cadets and Cavaliers, during a free webcast presented by Drum Corps International on Monday, June 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET.

With the DCI Tour officially kicking off just three days later in Indianapolis, viewers will get an overview of everything that’s in store for the summer drum corps season ahead hosted by DCI’s Dan Potter.

Broadcast from Ohio Northern University in Ada, webcast viewers will be welcomed into a live rehearsal of the Cadets. Potter will interview a number of personalities about the Cadets’ 2016 production, “Awakening,” before the corps sets up for a full dress rehearsal run through.

In addition, webcast viewers will be able to check out an exclusive pre-recorded performance of the Cavaliers’ 2016 production, “Propaganda,” along with a number of additional interviews, special features and other content previewing the 2016 DCI Tour.

“DCI’s season preview webcast has become an annual tradition to get the entire marching music community into a drum corps mindset,” DCI Executive Director Dan Acheson said. “With the official start of the summer season upon us, this’ll be a great opportunity to get a first-look at drum corps as DCI’s World and Open Class groups get ready to hit the road.”

DCI Live! is Drum Corps International’s official streaming video platform that will feature webcasts of select 2016 DCI Tour events for subscribers.

The free preview webcast on Monday, June 20, can be accessed via the DCI Live! portal on DCI.org. Current DCI Live! subscribers will be able to use their login to access. New users will be required to register for a free account to watch.

From the subscription page, new users should select the free "2016 DCI Live! Season Preview" package, enter their email address and a password, fill in a billing address (note no credit card information is required), review the terms and conditions and click "Subscribe."

This summer, DCI Live! will broadcast 17 competitive events, including a number of the most popular tour stops of the year in California, Florida, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, and others, in addition to the season-ending DCI World Championship Finals in August.
