A Troopers bus was involved in an accident Monday, June 6 after the vehicle experienced a blow-out approximately 30 miles northeast of Omaha, Neb. Thankfully, the nearly 40 corps members who were on-board came out of the experience only with minor bumps and bruises.
Field Pass correspondent Mike Ferlazzo was able to check in with the Troop just a day after the incident at the corps' rehearsal site in Greenfield, Iowa. There he found members in good spirits and that life on the road had pretty much already returned to its normal state.
In this phone interview, Ferlazzo caught up with Troopers Director Fred Morris as he was on his way to corps with a new motor coach to replace the one damaged in the accident.
