Troopers push through the storm, scores 69.65 (2:47 p.m.)

"America's Corps" threw itself into its show like the "Javelin" that's musically tossed across the field off-the-line, the color red representing the fire within. Ticheli's "An American Elegy," represented by soft blue shades, mourns the aftermath of destruction in a heart-tugging display of tenderness. The show ends with Melillo's "Into the Storm," looking to the day when the trials and travails of the nation will be but a prelude to the sunny days to come.
