As the show begins, the color guard winds up along with support from the horn line and the corps explodes within the first 15 seconds of the show. This year's corps superbly provides the visual feast so expected from Santa Clara. The emotional sculpture presented this evening by the Vanguard Cadets makes for a perfect opening to a week of World Championship performances. Vanguard Cadets competition score was 92.75.
