Warren, Walker join Teal Sound staff

From a Teal Sound press release:

Ed Warren will serve as Teal Sound’s program coordinator and drill designer for the 2006 season.

Warren has been involved in the pageantry activity for more than 35 years as a marching member, instructor, director, designer/coordinator and as a judge.

Warren served as drill designer and visual coordinator for the Northern Aurora drum corps in the mid-’90s, and has written for several other groups prior and since that time in the drum corps activity. He also does numerous programs for fall band, winter guard and percussion.

Warren has judged at DCI Championships nine times. He has also judged at BOA Grand Nationals 10 times and has judged for Drum Corps Japan as well as many regional and state contests. He has also judged for WGI percussion for six years. Warren also serves as judge coordinator for the Michigan Competing Band Association and is a former DCM visual caption chairperson.

Cliff Walker will also be working with Teal Sound for 2006, as the percussion arranger. Walker was the percussion caption head and writer for Southwind for five years. Walker is currently the band director for Timber Creek H.S. in Orlando, Fla.
